Statistics:
Chapter 6 – Describing Relationships
        Scatter Plots and Correlation
        Read pg. 331-343
        Do pg. 337: 6.1-6.3
              pg. 343: 6.5-6.8 (skip d)
Seniors with a B (80%) or higher do NOT need to take the end-of-semester exam.

Old Faithful is a geyser that erupts on a regular basis.


This Histogram shows that Old Faithful erupts at intervals of 60 or 90 minutes, but doesn't help us predict when the next eruption will occur.

This Scatter Plot shows the relationship between the length of an eruption and how long till the next eruption occurs, allowing us to predict when the timing of eruptions.
