Assignments for Thursday, 11/17, and Friday 11/18

Discrete Math:
Thursday and Friday are introductory activities to the subject of Probability.

Algebra II:
The topic for Thursday is imaginary and complex numbers, used when one has to take the square root of a negative number.
Assignment is 5-6:1-18, 29-46, 50-53, 59, 61-66, 68
The topic for Friday is "complete the square", a method used to convert a quadratic equation in standard form to vertex form.  Mr. Nieman, a math teacher colleague of mine, will be my substitute.  Please give him the same (or more) respect that you give me.
