Discrete Math:

Today was a review to learn the fine details and nuances of:

·      Summarizing Categorical Data: Counts and Percents

·      Organizing Categorical Data: Charts and Graphs

·      Organizing Quantitative Data: Charts and Graphs

·      Summarizing Quantitative Data: Means, Median, and More (pg 53 – 57: 1-12)

Algebra II:

Today we learned how to use the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra which tells us that ALL polynomials can be solved using complex numbers.  We are able to determine:

·      How many complex roots,

·      Possible number of real (and imaginary) roots,

·      Possible rational roots.

·      Using this information to solve for all the roots.

Assignment: 6-6 "Fundamental Theorem of Algebra" worksheet
