Preparing for Exams - 1/17-18/2013

How does an athlete get ready for the big game?  I'll offer two scenarios:

Scenario 1:
Athlete does little to nothing until the day before the big game, at which time athlete exercises and practices until 4am in the morning.  Athlete sleeps for 4 hours.  Athlete arrives at the stadium for the game.

Scenario 2:
Athlete exercises and practices for an hour each day for months prior to the big game.  On the day before, athlete does a short practice, then eats a healthy dinner, relaxes for a while, then goes to bed early.  Athlete sleeps for 8-10 hours.  Athlete arrives at the stadium for the game.

Which athlete do you think is better prepared for the big game?  I choose scenario 2.

Mathletes are similar to athletes.  A little practice every day is the best way to prepare for exam day.  Review your notes, eat a good dinner, relax, go to bed early, be rested and ready for your exams!
